Why snap jewelry?

You might be wondering why I chose to sell snap jewelry.  Well, I love the idea that a basic piece of jewelry can be transformed (sometimes dramatically) by just switching a simple snap. Style, convenience, and a lot of options - that's what snap jewelry is all about.  

When I owned my boutique, I carried Lindsay Phillips shoes, which are a similar concept.  You can change the look of a basic pair of shoes, like ballet flats, by simply changing the snaps.  They also have a line of flip flops that have changeable straps.  I absolutely love the concept and the quality of LP products is awesome.  

So, a couple of years ago when I saw a line of changeable snap jewelry I was intrigued.  The company was just starting out and therefore, I had the opportunity to get in on the ground floor.  I signed-up and enjoyed the opportunity for a short time, but began to feel that the cost of the jewelry really prohibited many people from buying it.  The limited selection of snaps was also disappointing, as most snaps were either too sparkly or screamed  "soccer Mom" - just not my style.  Finally, I didn't like the pressure of selling to meet a quota, so I scrapped the home party thing. 

Since I really loved the jewelry, I wanted to find more snaps to fit MY style. About that same time, I was also planning a trip to the UK to visit my son.  I always have issues packing too much jewelry, so I thought snap jewelry would be a great option...and it was.  I only packed a few jewelry pieces and some snaps, but still felt I had a wide variety of jewelry to match each outfit.  I packed a lot of style is a very small space:) 

My obsession with snap jewelry continued to grow as I found more and more unique pieces and a wider variety of snaps.  When I saw an ad for a local Vender and Craft show, I immediately thought about selling snap jewelry and sharing this jewelry with others.

As you can probably tell, I am truly passionate about snap jewelry as it has been such a wonderful addition to my rather large jewelry collection.  It's not only a great option for traveling, but also gift giving, matching other pieces I already own, and expressing my style no matter what the occasion.  Best of all, it's reasonably priced so everyone can enjoy a fun piece of jewelry.
