I am constantly exploring new ideas, products, methods, and ways to teach and run my business. So, this website is about providing inspiration for you by providing products, ideas, and designs in hopes of inspiring you.
For me, inspiration is experiencing that "Aha!" moment. It's when my ideas come together, I'm pleased with my project, and I know that what I am doing is right. Where do I find inspiration? Everywhere. I find it in the smallest detail of a pattern. I find it while randomly searching the Internet. I find inspiration in art, nature, and other cultures. I find it when I step out of my comfort zone and try something new or revisit something old. Most importantly - you must explore to find inspiration.
For the past 5 years, exploring has taken on a whole new meaning for me. I’ve had the opportunity to visit my son and daughter-in-law in Europe, as well as travel within the US. I have been inspired by SO many things. Life has been an incredible journey and I look forward to traveling much more in the future. So, as I continue to explore and follow my passion, I hope you will join me on this adventure. The name Loxie means "voyager". Uncanny, as I’ve always had a thirst for traveling.

WHY LOXIE.STYLE?
When I started thinking about getting back into business, I put some serious thought into the name. Using Miss Loxie's Boutique didn't seem right, since the overall concept isn't quite the same and I didn't want to convey the idea that I was going back to a storefront location. A fresh look was in order and I was super excited when I realized I could purchase my own domain - which led to Loxie.Style. The name really fits because this website, my business, and my blog are all about my style and helping you find yours. Not always in a fashion sense, but my way of doing things - that's just my style!
